NCRC
Read full descriptionHide full description
The National Conflict Resolution Center app for training initiatives on college campuses. Building on the significant strengths that are naturally present on higher education campuses and NCRC’s success in teaching people to communicate more effectively. NCRC’s interactive training modules focus on how to communicate more effectively on campus and in the world these modules have been loaded into the app for easy accessibility. Students, faculty, and staff first learn how to deal with personal conflict effectively, the foundation for additional learning. Exploration of their personal and cultural identities help students, faculty, and staff understand how these relate to their own communication style and assist them in gaining an appreciation of the identity of others. Students, faculty, and staff learn how these different styles can sometimes be the root of communication breakdown; and, most importantly, how they can learn to recognize when a communication breakdown is happening and do something about it, both interpersonally and when others are in conflict. Our app features interactive tools with quick access to our training modules, powerpoint, surveys and more.

Your training. Ready for the field. MTN Field Guide brings offline wilderness medicine reference, study practice and practical documentation tools together for trained responders, outdoor professionals, instructors, students and trip leaders. FIND THE RIGHT INFORMATION Search 109 field-reference entries by symptom, injury, title or acronym. Move between signs, treatment, evacuation guidance and related topics. Bookmark useful entries and enlarge bundled photos and diagrams with pinch to zoom. KEEP PRACTICING Try the daily wilderness medicine question and review the explanation. Explore learning modules, topic quizzes, flashcards and scenarios. Learning history stays on your device. Optional daily reminders are scheduled on your phone; notification settings can affect delivery. DOCUMENT IN SOAP FORMAT Keep up to five encrypted notes locally, protected by device authentication. Use clear Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan prompts, vital signs, AVPU mental status, skin observations and demographics. Each note supports one GPS snapshot and up to ten photos. Export a PDF when needed. PLAN BEFORE THE TRIP Review weather, activity and risk, group readiness, leadership, communications, useful numbers and local resources. Add map photos and up to five PDF, DOCX, TXT or GPX documents, up to 5 MB each. Export a plan PDF or a ZIP containing the PDF and original documents. RECORD AN INCIDENT Document what happened, classification, people involved, actions, outcome, corrective actions and witnesses. Add drawn signatures and optional scene details with labeled coordinates, elevation and photos. Drawn signatures do not verify identity; an approximate scene layout is not a navigation map or rescue dispatch. USE PRACTICAL FIELD TOOLS Keep assessment prompts, checklists, scales, acronyms, timers, a 110 BPM CPR metronome and rescue-request documentation aids close at hand. CONNECT WITH MTN Request training for your group or explore WFA/WFR instructor onboarding through optional online forms. Applying does not authorize teaching. Find MTN on Instagram. Use the feedback and content-recommendation forms to report issues or suggest guide changes, then review and send the message in your email app. UNDERSTAND STORAGE AND SHARING Core reference and study material work offline without an account. Online enquiries require a connection and use the MTN website's processing practices. SOAP notes are encrypted on your device. Trip, incident and location forms are session-only: export before leaving to retain a copy. PDFs and ZIPs are unencrypted, and your selected destination may retain copies. Documentation is not automatically uploaded to MTN. IMPORTANT USE INFORMATION Use this guide alongside hands-on training. It does not replace professional medical care, local protocols, medical direction or emergency services. Follow your training and authorization. The app does not diagnose a patient, calculate medication doses, decide evacuation priority or contact rescuers for you. In an emergency, use the available emergency or rescue channel promptly. No physician medical-director approval is claimed. This app may contain errors or incomplete content. Verify clinical content before operational use. Patient care decisions remain the responsibility of trained responders operating under applicable laws, agency policy, and medical direction.
