Verdict

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TORK holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TORK has 225 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of TORK's written reviews are positive against 100% of LEDVANCE tapTronic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TORK ships an update every 9 months, LEDVANCE tapTronic every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
