VMP Messenger vs Openspace.Social

Your messages are personal. Not "personal data for ad targeting" personal — actually personal. VMP Messenger protects every word, photo, and voice note with AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard banks and intelligence agencies rely on. No compromises. No surveillance. No data harvesting. Just private conversations between you and the people you trust. Telegram-quality media albums, voice messages with live waveforms, a built-in community hub, smart chat folders, stickers, GIFs — everything you love about modern messaging, wrapped in end-to-end encryption that actually means something. AES-256-GCM ENCRYPTION — NOT MARKETING FLUFF Every conversation is protected with AES-256-GCM — the gold standard, not a buzzword. Each chat room gets its own unique encryption key stored in your device's secure Keychain. Even media files are encrypted separately. Your messages never touch our servers in readable form. TELEGRAM-QUALITY MEDIA ALBUMS Send up to 10 photos and videos as a single beautiful album with intelligent auto-layouts. 1 photo = full-width. 2 = side-by-side. 3 = magazine layout. All wrapped in one sleek bubble with video duration badges. VMP COMMUNITY HUB A built-in community pinned to your home screen. Browse posts, polls, announcements, and rich media. Vote on polls, react with 6 emoji types, and dive into threaded comment discussions. VOICE MESSAGES WITH LIVE WAVEFORM Record voice messages with real-time audio metering and waveform visualization. High-quality M4A encoding with instant playback and progress tracking. SMART CHAT FOLDERS Organize chats like a pro. Create custom folders with emoji icons and auto-filter rules — group chats only, unread only, channels only, or manually pick conversations. Your chat list, your rules. RICH MESSAGE ACTIONS Quote-reply, edit within 5 minutes, delete for everyone, forward to multiple chats with encryption, pin important messages, copy text, or add emoji reactions that sync in real-time. STICKERS, GIFS & LINK PREVIEWS Multiple built-in sticker packs, GIF search, and automatic link previews with titles, images, and descriptions — Telegram-style, cached and lightning-fast. FULL MEDIA SUITE Share photos, videos with inline playback, voice notes, documents (PDF, ZIP), live location via MapKit, and contact cards. All with thumbnails, caching, and prefetching for 60fps scrolling. CUSTOM WALLPAPERS & DARK MODE Built-in themes, solid colors, gradients, or upload your own image — globally or per-chat. Premium Midnight Blue + Gold dark mode palette that adapts automatically. REAL-TIME EVERYTHING Animated typing indicators. Double blue checkmarks for read receipts. Live online/offline status with "last seen" timestamps. WebSocket-powered with automatic reconnection — zero lag, zero missed messages. VMP Messenger: Chat Match. Private by design. Beautiful by choice. Yours alone. Privacy Policy: https://vmpmessenger.com/privacy Terms and Conditions: https://vmpmessenger.com/terms-and-conditions

Openspace.Social is a decentralized social network built on the Fediverse. Connect, share, and follow across thousands of communities comfortably with no ads, no tracking, no algorithm working against you. WHY OPENSPACE Most social apps decide what you see, sell what they learn about you, and lock you inside their walls. Openspace does the opposite. As a Fediverse-native platform, your account can connect with people on Mastodon and other ActivityPub-compatible networks. Your data stays yours. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Build or join communities — gather around shared interests, run your own community, or contribute to others • Engage in real conversation — comment, react, and reply with people who actually want to talk • Pin the posts that matter — keep your best work or important threads at the top of your profile • Reach across the Fediverse — comment, react, and reshare content from any compatible network • Group connections into Circles — share specific posts with the right group of people, not the whole internet • Organize accounts into Lists — curate custom feeds by topic, person, or interest • Build Your Own Algorithm (BYOA) — set your own rules for what shows up. You decide what's signal and what's noise. • No ads. No tracking. — we don't sell your attention. The only data we use is what's needed to authenticate your account and keep it secure. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants social media to feel like a place again — not a stream of ads and outrage. Creators, hobbyists, friend groups, communities, and people who remember what social used to be.
