Find the right professor that matches your needs. Professor Matchmaker helps college students make one of the most important decisions of the semester: choosing the right professor. A great rating doesn't always mean a great fit. Every student learns differently, so Professor Matchmaker looks beyond the number. Search by college, course, or professor, tell the app what matters to you, and get personalized insights based on real student review data. FIND YOUR MATCH Set your preferences for homework, exams, reading, difficulty, grading, lecture style, workload, and more. Professor Matchmaker uses those preferences to help determine how well a professor may fit you. GO BEYOND RATINGS Get an easy-to-understand breakdown of what students are saying, including: • Personalized Match Percentage • Strengths and potential pitfalls • Workload, exams, reading, grading, and lecture insights • Red flags and recurring review patterns • Who a professor may be best for • Who may want to look elsewhere • Practical tips for succeeding in the class • Confidence and evidence information COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS Save professors, compare your choices, organize potential classes, add personal notes, and plan your semester, all in one place. AI-POWERED, WHEN AVAILABLE On supported devices, Professor Matchmaker uses Apple's on-device intelligence to help turn student review evidence into clear, useful insights. Core professor information remains available even when AI analysis isn't supported. BUILT BY A STUDENT, FOR STUDENTS A college student created Professor Matchmaker. It began as a small project I made for someone I love after watching her struggle repeatedly to choose professors. I eventually realized the same problem affects students everywhere. What started as something for one person became something I wanted to share with everyone. Professor Matchmaker doesn't try to tell you who the “best” professor is. It helps you find the professor who may be best for you.
