Take a Break

Block distracting apps, protect bedtime and start the day with a wake-up mission. Take a Break brings scheduled breaks, daily app limits and Time Bank together, with Moo as your companion for calmer screen time. BLOCK APPS ON YOUR SCHEDULE Choose distracting apps and set a daily break or bedtime window. Apple Screen Time shields your selections. Per-app daily limits give individual apps an allowance. WAKE WITH A MISSION Choose maths, typing, QR, NFC, photo or a recorded push-up mission. Camera and physical-token missions offer a maths fallback when the original task is unavailable. Photos and recordings are proof for yourself, without automated content verification. Wake alarms use Apple AlarmKit on iOS 26. Coverage depends on alarm access, system capacity and device conditions. Check the coverage shown in the app and keep a separate alarm for essential wake-ups. EARN TIME BACK Honour scheduled breaks to earn Time Bank minutes. When available, spend two banked minutes for each minute of early unlock. Walking offers another way to earn time. See your routine and progress on Today and in the activity heatmap. PROTECT YOUR ROUTINE The Vault restricts paid early unlock and changes while a shield is active. iOS permissions remain under your control. Turn off blocking provides a safety action, including from the paywall. While any shield is on, Apple's device-wide Screen Time restriction prevents app deletion. Turning off blocking lifts that restriction. NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS. App selections and mission proof are stored on your device. Diagnostic and usage-data handling is explained in our privacy policy. Optional usage statistics are off by default. When enabled, allowlisted feature and purchase events use a random installation identifier. Mission photos, videos, QR payloads and typed answers are not sent as analytics. PREMIUM ACCESS Choose a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. There is no ongoing free tier. A one-month free introductory trial is available to eligible monthly subscribers only when Apple confirms eligibility. Local prices and terms appear before payment. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple Account subscription settings. Manage or cancel there, and restore eligible purchases in the app. Privacy: https://takeabreak.mykoala.com.au/privacy.html Terms: https://takeabreak.mykoala.com.au/terms.html Support: https://takeabreak.mykoala.com.au/support.html
