See exactly where you're standing on the grade plan, live, from your phone or iPad. FieldGrade opens the plans your crew already has (Topcon jobs, Trimble and Civil 3D LandXML, DXF, KML) and puts your position on them with a heading arrow. Tap anywhere for the design grade. Built for foremen, grade checkers, pipe crews and ground crew who aren't sitting in a machine-controlled dozer but still need to know where they are on the plan. WORKS WITH YOUR PLANS, IN ANY STATE • Topcon machine-control jobs: one .tp3 file, or .ln3 linework and .tn3 design surfaces • Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D and Carlson LandXML: surfaces, alignments, points and pipe networks • DXF (including blocks like manholes and inlets), KML/KMZ and GeoJSON • State plane coordinates from any US state, in meters or feet. FieldGrade picks the zone for you, so there's nothing to set up • Open from Mail, Files, AirDrop or Messages, or link a shared Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or iCloud folder so new plans show up on their own • Only have paper? Photograph the plan sheet, match a few spots to the map, and it lays over the satellite view KNOW WHERE YOU ARE • Live position arrow that points the way you're facing, with your elevation always on screen • North-up, or heading-up so the map turns with you like the screen in a machine • Tap anywhere for the design grade from the plan's surfaces • Tap a pipe, drain, culvert or inlet for its length, inverts, slope, size and material • Accuracy badge, so you know when to trust the dot FIELD TOOLS • Level: lay it flat, stand it up, or mount it in the cab for side-to-side and front-to-back slope in percent and degrees. Zero it on level ground, or keep a level box on the map • Drop markers with notes like "soft spot" or "busted pipe", and navigate back to them • Outline areas for grade changes, cut, fill or keep-out zones • Measure distances in feet or meters • Satellite maps, or your own drone imagery (GeoTIFF or MBTiles) • Plans, markers and drone maps work with no signal FOR CREWS: COMPANY PLANS Companies can set FieldGrade up for their whole crew. Employees just enter the company's code. Company plans add: • Office plans: the office uploads a plan once, and it lands on every crew phone, revisions included. No more texting PDFs or grading to an old plan • Crew sharing: markers and area notes from anyone show up on everyone's phone, with who dropped them • A company dashboard for the office to manage devices and plans FOR YOURSELF: FIELDGRADE BASIC • Free download, and your first week is free • Then $79.99 a year (save 33%) or $9.99 a month. Cancel any time in Settings • Bought the one-time unlock before? You keep everything. Nothing to do PRIVACY No account, no ads, no tracking. On your own, your plans, location and markers stay on your device. On a company plan, only the markers and notes you create are shared with your crew. Your live location is never sent. GOOD TO KNOW FieldGrade uses your device's built-in GPS, typically within 10–16 feet in open sky. It's for finding your place on the plan and marking it up, not for staking, machine guidance or checking grade. Wi-Fi-only iPads have no GPS chip, so use an iPhone or a cellular iPad on site. State plane covers every US state except southeast Alaska (zone 1). Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: FieldGrade at free with in-app purchases against Integrated Video's subscription. FieldGrade also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Integrated Video's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
