Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: OVN Drive at 4.7 against CargoAI's 3.0. OVN Drive also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 2). CargoAI's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
OVN Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OVN Drive has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of OVN Drive's written reviews are positive against 50% of CargoAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
OVN Drive ships an update every 3 weeks, CargoAI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
