Overthinking? Worry on a loop? WorryTree helps you write the worry down, check whether you can do anything about it, and then act on it or let it go. Formerly Luma: same app, same account, same tools. Named best CBT app by Marie Claire (2023). HOW IT WORKS • Write it down: get the worry out of your head and into words. • Run it through the worry tree: can you do something about this? • Yes: make a short plan and choose one step to start with. • No: let it go for now, with a walk, some music or a short sensory practice. • Look back: see which worries actually happened, and what helped before. ALSO IN WORRYTREE • Notice thinking traps: check a thought against 8 common thinking styles • Gratitude, acceptance and uncertainty journals • Short sensory practices for in-the-moment calm • Worry time reminders • Works across your devices BUILT ON CBT AND ACT The worry tree is a widely used technique from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). WorryTree also draws on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Many people use it alongside therapy, and many reviewers say a therapist or CBT course recommended it. About

Slay your Dragons

Features

Face the things you've been avoiding, one step at a time. Slay your Dragons helps you to face your fears by breaking them down into manageable steps. Completing them rewards you treasure based on the difficulty of the challenge. Often, when things aren't going your way, what you need is where you least want to look. Start small by confronting everyday dragons — like unopened bills, unread emails, or awkward conversations. Then progress to bigger challenges: physical fears, phobias, and eventually, the dragons of your past. The world can be conceptualised as containing 2 states: the known and the unknown. In encountering the unknown there are 2 responses: One is to run away, the other is the voluntary exposure to the unknown. It is the second exploratory mode that allows you to overcome your fears, not because you get less afraid but because you show yourself that you are tougher than you thought and you get more courageous because of it. This is a daunting task but the dragon can be scaled down to one that is manageable. This is why all steps and difficulty are decided by you so you can move towards goals that you both can and want to do. EXPOSURE THERAPY • Break down fears into a hierarchy of increasing difficulty • Track and execute each step till you conquer your fear • Confront memories of the past • Earn gold based on the difficulty of each task STATISTICS • Fill your vault with treasure from your quests • Manage tags and track your activity over time • View detailed distributions and statistics of your quests • Filter for daily, weekly, monthly and year insights It's better to face the small dragon in its cave then when it's fully grown and comes to find you! WARNING It is helpful to face the memories of traumatic events that have happened more than 18 months ago, however facing them before 18 months can make things worse, It is better to let them settle first. Always follow the guidance of a mental health professional and doctor first. Always pay appropriate caution towards health and safety.
