LatheCalc Pro brings everyday lathe calculations to your phone, helping machinists, CNC programmers and manufacturing technicians spend less time looking up values and converting units. Main features • Tangency coordinates calculated from geometry templates. • Common dimensions and parameters for metric and Unified threads. • ISO 286 hole and shaft tolerances and fits. • Cutting speed, spindle speed and diameter conversion. • Taper geometry and chamfer dimensions and coordinates. • Feed per revolution, feed per minute and spindle speed conversion. • Theoretical Ra roughness estimated from tool nose radius and feed per revolution, with results transferable to feed conversion. A large numeric keypad, metric and imperial units, calculation history and favorites help with repeat calculations. Results support machining decisions. Actual surface roughness also depends on material, tool condition, vibration and cutting conditions. Check results against your drawing, process requirements and machine manual before machining.
