IE Calculator is an application designed for Industrial Engineering that allows easy calculation to support the manufacturing planning. After setting the working pattern you are able to make the following calculations: - Production Capacity based on the cycle time or Jobs Per Hour(JPH). - Takt Time according to the volume demand. It can be yearly, monthly, weekly, daily or hourly demand. - Actual JPH(Jobs Per Hour) based on the start time and the end time. - HPU(Hours Per Unit) - The time required to produce one unit in the manufacturing process. I hope you enjoy the app. Gustavo Sousa, App Developer and Industrial Engineer with broad experience in the automotive industry. Email Contact: gustavoy@gmail.com

Discover the ultimate tool for time and motion studies, rooted in industrial engineering methodologies. Time & Motion Study, a user-friendly and automated time study tool, is designed to optimize your time study operations! Enhance working methods to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Effectiveness isn't just about hard work, but also smart work. These time and motion studies empower you to fine-tune your operational processes (increasing throughput) and improve resource utilization (enhancing efficiency). How do we achieve this? By understanding the time and movements required for specific tasks, you can effectively allocate the optimal amount of labor and material resources. Enjoy the added benefit of cost reduction (savings in labor and material costs). Time studies are ideally used for: 1. Machine and operational process cycle time verification. 2. Manual tasks in employee functions, involving repetitive tasks in retail, manufacturing/production, distribution, or other operational environments. To start a time study: 1. Tap “New Time Study.” 2. Select the number of tasks/process steps in the process you are studying. 3. Name the tasks/elements/process steps. 4. Tap “Start." Pro Tip: Measure the time saved by workers after implementing changes to provide a clear and transparent return on investment business case back to your organization.
