Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Campanion at 66% against XbotGo's 32%. Campanion also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). XbotGo's advantage is chart position (#112 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Campanion sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and XbotGo sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Campanion holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Campanion has 40K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Campanion's written reviews are positive against 32% of XbotGo's.
Campanion ships an update every 8 days, XbotGo fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
