Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: iDay at 4.7 against WithU Focus's 3.7. iDay also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 57%) and ratings volume (71 vs 3). WithU Focus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. iDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WithU Focus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
iDay holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iDay has 71 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of iDay's written reviews are positive against 57% of WithU Focus's.
iDay ships an update every 2 months, WithU Focus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
