Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Retime at every 5 days against StuLOG's every 2 months. Retime also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 43%). StuLOG's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StuLOG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Retime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for StuLOG against 5.0 for Retime. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StuLOG has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of StuLOG's written reviews are positive against 72% of Retime's.
StuLOG ships an update every 2 months, Retime every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
