Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QCY at none against Watch Faces's 3. QCY also leads on ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. QCY asks for nothing beyond the download.
QCY holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 296 and 325 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Watch Faces's written reviews are positive against 18% of QCY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Watch Faces ships an update every 3 weeks, QCY fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
