Resideo Technician holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resideo Technician has 305 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Resideo Technician's written reviews are positive against 17% of Elitech Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Resideo Technician ships an update monthly, Elitech Tools every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
