About

YEOL Tuner

Features

YEOL Tuner is a tuner and metronome for string players. Pluck a string and the needle locks onto the note; the moment you are in tune, the screen glows green and you feel a gentle tap. Tune 9 instruments, from guitar to cello, in one app, then start practicing with the built-in metronome. ■ Tuner • Everything fits on one screen, no scrolling • Finds the string you play automatically. Tap a string button to tune just that string • Near the target pitch, the needle settles and the screen turns green • A gentle tap tells you it is in tune, even without looking (you can turn it off) • A check mark on every tuned string, and "All strings in tune" when you are done • Cents meter plus current frequency, detected note, target frequency and input level • Picks up quiet notes and the ring-out of a string, and reads accurately right after you pluck • Readings hold briefly after the sound stops, so you can turn the peg comfortably • Orchestra reference pitch: set A4 anywhere from 435 to 445 Hz (440 Hz by default, 442 Hz one tap away) • The screen stays on while you tune ■ Metronome • 40–240 BPM: the slider for big moves, ±1 buttons for fine steps • Shows the tempo name (Andante, Allegro and more) • Tap tempo: tap the screen to set the speed • 1–8 beats per bar with an accented downbeat and large numbered beats • Mix sound, vibration and a screen flash. Turn the sound off for silent practice • The screen stays on while it plays ■ Instruments and tunings • Guitar: Standard, Drop D • Bass guitar: 4-string Standard, 5-string, Drop D • Ukulele: Standard, Low G • Violin · Viola · Cello: Standard • Double bass: Standard, Solo tuning • Mandolin: Standard • Banjo: Open G (5-string) ■ Great for • Players who want to tune fast and go straight into rhythm practice • Orchestra and ensemble string players who tune to 442 Hz • Music teachers and church or school bands with many instruments ■ Simple and private • Works offline • No ads, no sign-in • English and Korean • For iPhone and iPad • Microphone audio is analyzed only on your device.
