About

BoothDock Studio

Features

BoothDock Studio turns an iPad, iPhone or Mac into a full photo booth – for weddings, company parties and everything in between. Guests tap, pose and get their picture. They print it, pick it up by QR code, share it via AirDrop or have it sent by email. You decide beforehand what they may do. • The camera you want: the built-in one, a USB webcam (iPad and Mac) – or a Canon or Sony system camera on a cable, with live view and shutter release from the app • Set aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance right in the app • Cut-outs without a green cloth: the person is separated from the background, and guests pick the scene themselves • AI portraits: the guest's real photo is transformed into one of 35 styles (with a BoothDock account) • Beauty filter, color filters and stickers guests place on the picture themselves • Guest book: guests sign or write a message right into the photo • Mirror booths too: portrait touch screen, mirrored preview, signature on the photo, stickers • Motion too: GIF, boomerang and video, also from the system camera (Canon and selected Sony models) • 360° video booth: slow motion, time-lapse and reverse freely on a timeline, plus music, overlays, intro and outro – optionally started by motion • Color looks: import your own LUTs (.cube) for photos and 360° videos • Design your own layouts: photo slots, text, images, QR codes, your own frames • Import templates from dslrBooth or LumaBooth – and export them again • Printing via AirPrint, with a per-guest copy limit • Guest gallery: a QR code on the result, pictures available without an app • Real-time export: every picture lands in a folder on the device right away • Remote control: through the BoothDock hub or on your own Wi-Fi via a local interface – password-protected, off by default • Webhooks: call a URL on events such as start, capture or print – e.g. for lights with Shelly, WLED or Tasmota • Kiosk mode: guests cannot reach the settings • Works offline – uploads happen once the connection is back • Consent text before the first shot, the record stays on the device With a BoothDock account you connect several boxes, distribute templates, control them remotely and see what is running at which event. Without an account the app keeps working locally. No ads, no third-party analytics.
