Welcome to the official interactive mobile app for the Ron Clark Academy House Points System. The Ron Clark Academy House System is a dynamic, exciting, and proven way to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff. Using RCA’s methods will help your school or district confidently implement processes that build character, relationships, and school spirit. Our guidelines are designed to give you a streamlined framework that can be applied to various learning environments. The RCA House Points System supports the RCA House System — both work together to create a fun and healthy competitive spirit amongst the Houses. Points are collected throughout the year by each student (counting toward their overall House’s score) to help determine the champions at the end of the year. The Ron Clark Academy House Points mobile app is a great new tool that: * Allows teachers and staff award points to a student or house for academic excellence, character, performance, school spirit, and much more. * Allows parents to view a historic log of points earned by their child. * Gives parents the option to receive notifications telling them that a teacher or staff member has awarded points to their child. * Allows staff to include a note telling the parent why the student earned the points. * Allows parents to celebrate their child’s achievements after school. * Allows parents and staff to view a scoreboard of points earned at their perspective schools. * Also allows parents and staff to view the national leaderboard for RCA's four Houses.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Planbook Mobile at 4.8 against RCA House Points's 3.9. Planbook Mobile also leads on ratings volume (7.6K vs 241) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). RCA House Points's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planbook Mobile sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. RCA House Points asks for nothing beyond the download.
Planbook Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planbook Mobile has 7.6K ratings behind it against 241, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of RCA House Points's written reviews are positive against 51% of Planbook Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RCA House Points ships an update every 4 days, Planbook Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
