a-Shell is a complete local terminal emulator, allowing to run most Unix commands on your iOS device. You can transfer files using scp and curl, edit them with vim and ed, process them using grep, awk and sed. You can work with git repositories using lg2.  Most commands are compiled for iOS native Arm64 format, making them fast and well integrated with the BSD Unix that powers iOS/iPadOS. a-Shell includes Python, Lua, Perl, JavaScript, C, C++ for programming and TeX (texlive 2025, with Tikz and LuaTeX) for text processing. There are also multiple network utilities: nslookup, ping, whois, ifconfig... Type help for help, help -l to get the full list of commands. a-Shell can be controlled from Shortcuts: run commands in order, process files in a-Shell, get the results as text or files, transfer files to other apps... a-shell uses iOS 13+ “multiple windows” ability, so you can run multiple shells at the same time, with different commands, in different directories. You can edit a file in one window with vim and process it in the other with python. Compile your C or C++ programs to webAssembly using clang or clang++, and execute the resulting binary. A complete webAssembly SDK is included (WASI-libc). a-Shell is the complete version. If you need a smaller app, and you don't need a C compiler, a TeX engine, or numpy and matplotlib, there is a-Shell mini.

About

Ping Agent

Let your AI agents tell you when they need you. Ping brings updates from your agents, scripts and automations to your iPhone. Connect a tool that can make an HTTPS request, then get on with your day. A task finished? A workflow needs a decision? Your tools can send you a ping. Your agents, your rules Create a separate named API key for each agent. Choose Normal or Time Sensitive notifications, test the key, then copy or share it with your tool. Revoke one key without affecting the others. No account or sign-in required. Every ping has a home Search notification titles and messages, filter by agent or urgency, and open saved messages offline. Swipe to delete a notification or clear the whole history. Your history stays on your iPhone until you delete it and is included in normal device backups. Built to stay out of your way - Named, independently revocable agent keys - Normal and Time Sensitive permissions per key - A test notification before you share a key - Searchable history with offline reading - No ads, tracking or public profile Optional Ping Safety connection For safety or security events, you can pair the separate Ping Safety app, version 1.1 or later. Compare the full fingerprint in both apps, confirm in Ping Safety, then explicitly allow Critical via Ping Safety for each chosen agent key. These alerts go only to your linked iPhone, never to trusted contacts. They appear in Ping Safety and are not added to Ping’s history. Normal and Time Sensitive alerts continue through Ping. Critical alerts require notification and Critical Alerts permission in Ping Safety. When allowed, they can sound through Silent mode or Focus. The integration shares a five-minute cooldown across its agent keys. Use Normal or Time Sensitive for routine work, infrastructure incidents and completion notices. Good to know Delivery is not guaranteed. Ping is not an emergency service or a replacement for calling local emergency services. Ping does not sync history between devices or store notification titles and bodies on its servers. History includes notifications captured by Ping and may include older alerts still in Notification Center. Already-cleared alerts cannot be recovered. Keep passwords, access tokens, medical details, financial information and other sensitive content out of notifications.
