Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Prkn at every 3 weeks against Oji Smart's every 12 months. Prkn also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 50%) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). Oji Smart's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Oji Smart holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prkn has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Prkn's written reviews are positive against 50% of Oji Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Prkn ships an update every 3 weeks, Oji Smart every 12 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
