Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: UYC at 3.3 against AView's 1.8. UYC also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). AView's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
UYC holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of UYC's written reviews are positive against 24% of AView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
UYC ships an update every 5 weeks, AView fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
