BuddhaSide is a Buddhist culture app for prayer, daily practice, and thoughtful reflection. Begin with a wish, a passage, a mala bead, or a few quiet minutes, wherever you are. PRAYER, INCENSE, AND LIGHTS Write a wish for yourself or someone you care about, choose a devotion, and create a shareable prayer card. Choose incense themes such as blessing, peace, health, career, or relationships, then follow a simple lighting and reflection ritual. The basic blessing incense is available to try; other themes are included with membership. You can also light an online prayer lamp for someone important; each lamp stays lit for 24 hours. These rituals express care and intention. They do not predict fortune or promise real-world outcomes, and do not represent an offering at a physical temple. SUTRAS AND DAILY PRACTICE Read Buddha-name recitations, mantras, and sutras. Selected content includes pinyin and guided audio; membership unlocks the complete library and all recitation audio. Copy a sutra one character at a time, with progress saved on your device. Count each mala bead as you move it; every 108 beads completes a round, with optional sound and haptics. Follow a breathing animation for a 1–60 minute meditation, with a choice of music and soundscapes. Explore Buddhist calendar dates, set reminders, and review supported practice records. APPLE WATCH On supported models, count mala beads from your wrist, including Double Tap. Receive a haptic cue every 108 beads, start breathing meditation, and use daily practice reminders. Supported records sync with iPhone. XIAOBAO AI DHARMA COMPANION Talk with Xiaobao about Buddhist practice and life questions. Replies offer relevant perspectives, references, and a small step to consider. This feature is available only to users aged 18 or older who are signed in, have an active membership, and are in a supported region. Each successful reply uses 108 in-app merit points, with a limit of 10 replies per account per day. Points are an in-app usage mechanism and do not represent religious merit in real life. AI may be inaccurate; it does not predict the future or make decisions for you, and is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. PRIVACY AND MEMBERSHIP Core practice features are available without registration. Data is stored on your device by default. Signing in can sync supported practice records and progress. Membership includes the complete sutra and mantra library, all guided recitation audio, additional meditation soundscapes, and member incense themes. Prices, trial eligibility, subscription periods, and renewal details are shown on the App Store purchase screen. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings, or restore purchases in the app. BuddhaSide is not an official partner of any temple and does not provide real-world temple services.
