Dogs love, I HATE
When we first got the Ebo it worked great and the dogs started to love it.. everytime we had to leave the house to go to work ( normally I work from home) when they get upset they go and give it a nudge! Then I can talk to them and give them (heheh) some words of encouragement… however now it doesn’t charge at all. I can unplug it and it will look like it’s charging then it just goes green again… so disappointing.. my dogs love it so much💔

Very easy and convenient app, and robot
I’ve had this rola mini for 2 years, it works great, does everything I need. Good to have a peace of mind when traveling and want to check on my pets. The battery lasts forever (months with no charge and no charge between trips within a year). The app is easy and haven’t experienced bugs. The only remark - I think the location of the “terms of use” button is not the best, both me and my household members had no issues signing up, sharing the account etc. I’m really confused by the bad rating tbh, who cares about some rebranding? I got it when it’s already Rola and I don’t care. Rola sounds better anyways, like a “Roller” since it rolls you know… with wheels.

UNTRUST UPDATE
Don’t trust the updates it breaks a lot of features that were working. Support non existent. Sad had to sell this on marketplace because it was useless with no functioning app. It works on apps installed in 2025 December and can’t update or it won’t work
App sucks
It logs me out every time I back out of the app, then never remembers my login info. The noise functions for the robot don’t work from my app.

ROLA
This Robot really amazed me with the cool customizations in the app and it is always nice to see my cat when I’m away. This is worth $200 US Dollars.
Not smart. Limited.
Robot is ok quality construction, but the limited software is always a problem. With the play module installed, there is no way to automate turning on or off the laser toy. My cats love the laser, but none of the automated play routines allow you to turn it on or off - so either you leave it on 24/7 or off. Stupid limitation. Also the play butterfly mechanism has a tendency to stick in a position where the laser beam is not visible to the cats. Poor design and poor software updates. After 2 years I am still waiting for better play options. Monthly subscription fee is outrageous and useless.

Cute idea but mine is perpetually lost or dead somewhere random. Paid for the subscription for the daily vlog no clue how to activate or access it… going back to my ubiquity cameras.
WiFi
Robot keeps loosing connection to WiFi. Fails to load video and have had to reset a couple times now in order to get working properly. Quite glitchy to be honest. Not overly impressed . Turning via control is also very sharp and uncontrollable if wanting to go fast, no real smooth transition for left and right turns.

Shows ads on launch
They're showing a fullscreen ad on the launch screen advertising their new product. It's dismissible, but this is extremely annoying, because if I open the app, I want to see the camera feed ASAP.
Cool idea, terrible app
We wanted to like this little robot but never got the chance to try it out. The application is atrocious in design and functionality. It was probably an afterthought that was thrown together in an afternoon by an intern. I’m not kidding it’s that bad. It’s also obvious that this app was not designed by or for English-speakers. Translations are so-so on many things within. I was never able to get the app to even generate a QR code for my robot to scan with multiple vague error messages even though I followed the instructions. We are returning this and looking for a product with a better app and UI.

It works
The app and the functionality is what holds this robot back. Things work fine, but if you are using this app, you got a “budget line” Ebo and it feels that way. Updates seem to fix some bugs bit that about it.

If you’ve already bought one of these “smart” robots and it’s too late to return them then, well, I’m sorry. You’ve been screwed.
Don’t waste your money
The Rola robot was fun until the app completely stopped responding when I tried taking it to another place. Now I can’t even sign into the app. No QR code comes up to re-register. Too many bugs and zero support.
Security concern
Just bought this and had it 5 days. The robot has been roaming around sometimes randomly and I thought it was my daughter at Uni. Just today it started and I could hear many male voices and am very worried it was hacked. ROLA need to really look at the security of online access to this…don’t buy until they respond to this security worry

So when I try to send the email to myself it says intelligent detection and then fails I try sending it over and over on different devices nothing works I am sure the bot works very well but I can’t even use the bot because the app doesn’t even let me use it. I hope this gets to the developers and so they fix this but until then I feel upset every time I see the bot on the charger doing nothing. Edit I got it working. It’s very fun to use.
