Tiyoweh is a Seneca-language word for the stillness or silence that we encounter internally when there is no chatter coming from the mind's thoughts. Tiyoweh is the word for the Native American spiritual discipline translated literally as 'entering the silence'. Tiyoweh is a spiritual discipline that can reduce stress, control anxiety, enhance self-awareness, lengthen attention spans, generate kindness & gratitude, help fight addiction & transform fear into peace. Any discipline, followed faithfully daily, can allow a person to enter a serene state of stillness, and practice is the key that opens the door to Tiyoweh. Aim for half an hour to one hour a day of practice. Features Include: *Try a mindful shower using the new Timer Only option on Apple Watch. Set the haptic interval to one minute and set a timer for 6 minutes, beginning and ending with cold water, each minute switch back and forward from cold to hot, cold, hot and back to cold. *Start mindfulness activities on Apple Watch and record 'Mindful Minutes' in the Apple Health app at the same time. Aim for ½ an hour to an hour a day of Tiyoweh. *Automatic switching between light and dark mode on supported iPhones. *Watch Connectivity to set your daily goal in the iPhone app or Apple Watch App. *Set daily notification reminders to make time to practice Tiyoweh. Set one reminder for the morning and one for the evening. *Multiple Apple Watch activity types to choose from: Mindfulness* only, Mind & Body, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Dance, Flexibility or Other. *Mindfulness only sessions on Apple Watch do not affect your daily activity rings and have a background processing time limit of only 1 hour. *Start a custom timer with haptic alarm or start an un-timed session. *View mindfulness history via iPhone app, Apple Watch app and Apple Watch face complications.
