Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
FiiO Control holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOONDROP GLOBAL has 57 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of FiiO Control's written reviews are positive against 25% of MOONDROP GLOBAL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
FiiO Control ships an update fortnightly, MOONDROP GLOBAL every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
