Finding Something Real is a podcast and ministry for young women working out what they actually believe. Each season a cohort of women in their late teens and twenties co-hosts alongside Janell Wood, asking about identity, doubt, church hurt, relationships, and what following Jesus looks like now. Nothing is scripted and nobody is handed an answer — the questions come from the co-hosts themselves, and each one gets its own episode. In the app: • Every episode plays right here — free, and no account needed • Pick up where you stopped, save episodes for later, and keep track of what you have already heard • Search the whole back catalogue, or browse short clips when you have two minutes instead of an hour • Who we are, who it is for, and how the cohorts work Co-hosts for the current season can sign in to see their recording schedule, reply to invitations, send in questions, and read notes from Janell. Accounts are issued by the ministry — there is nothing to sign up for, and everything else in the app is open to everyone. Finding Something Real Ministry is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Finding Something Real at 5.0 against GettyGuide's 4.2. GettyGuide's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Finding Something Real holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GettyGuide has 43 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
