Integration & Compatibility: LapTrak integrates with HealthKit, Strava, and the Health & Activity apps, allowing your runs to contribute to your daily stats. You can upload activities to Strava with one tap or export them in TCX format for other platforms. Core Features: LapTrak excels at tracking and analyzing individual laps, regardless of their time or distance. You can manually track laps with the large lap button or let a training program handle it automatically. • Classic Laps: Free program for manual or auto lap tracking with customizable lap distances. Great for sprints, intervals, splits, and reminders like halfway points or gels. • Upgraded Programs: Available for purchase and fully customizable: • Lap Repeats: Fast + recovery laps by time, distance, or location. • Pyramid Laps: Intervals with increasing and decreasing durations. • Tabata: 8x 20-second sprints with 10-second recoveries. • Tempo: Target a hard pace based on your 5K time. • Yasso 800s: Predict and train for marathon goals. On the iPhone app, view summaries, interactive maps, and tables of interval splits, including pace, distance, time, elevation, heart rate, and cadence. Select intervals for deeper analysis, including pace graphs and rankings. LapTrak also highlights fast intervals, showing specific stats alongside overall results. Velorific

Velorific is a nutrition and training tracker built for cyclists, runners, triathletes, and anyone whose eating target should change with how hard they worked out today. WORKOUT-ADAPTIVE CALORIES Your daily calorie target isn't static. Velorific reads your workout activity, classifies each day as rest, easy, moderate, hard, or very hard, and adjusts your deficit accordingly. Ride easy - hold the deficit. Ride very hard - deficit waives, fuel the session. No more fighting hunger on big days or overeating on rest days. RECOVERY-DAY PROTECTION After a hard session, Velorific looks back at the last two days of training load. A rest day that follows an 80+ effort waives the deficit entirely. A 60+ effort halves it. Recovery is critical. MACROS THAT TRACK YOUR TRAINING Protein target holds steady at your set value. Carb budget scales up on hard days and down on rest days, derived from your calorie target and protein/fat floors. Fat stays put so macros always balance. INTEGRATIONS - Strava: workouts import automatically. Manual sync on demand. - TrainingPeaks: planned sessions surface as a banner so you can pre-fuel. - AI meal estimate: describe a meal in plain English, get calories and macros back. LOGGING THAT DOESN'T GET IN THE WAY - Favourites for meals you eat every day. - Weight log with trend detection — the app adjusts your deficit by ±25 to ±50 kcal when your actual weekly loss deviates from target. - Clean, native iOS design. No ads, no cross-app tracking, no nutrient database to pay extra for. SAFETY A minimum intake floor (1,400 kcal or 70% of your base metabolic rate) prevents the app from ever recommending a dangerously low target, regardless of your deficit setting. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE Velorific is an informational tool, not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian, or coach. Consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet or training. Not intended for anyone with a history of disordered eating. REQUIREMENTS iOS 17 or later. Works with your existing Strava and TrainingPeaks accounts. Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Velorific at Free against LapTrak's $2.99. Velorific also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly). LapTrak's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
