Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Seton Hall Mobile at 100% against Transact eAccounts's 40%. Seton Hall Mobile also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Transact eAccounts's advantage is ratings volume (49K vs 37) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Transact eAccounts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transact eAccounts has 49K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Transact eAccounts's written reviews are positive against 100% of Seton Hall Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
