The world's first spatial audio navigation app - See the world through your ears. Our mission is to make navigation easy for everyone. **Features at a glance: 1. Audio Augmented Reality - Virtual waypoints are placed in the real world around you 2. Spatial Audio - You can hear the waypoints as if a friend was calling 3. Navigation by Hearing - Follow the sounds until the destination. Simple and hands-free 4. Three views: descriptive cards, map view (classic) and AR view 5. Save favourite places and routes 6. Three different guiding sounds 7. Explore nearby places with “Around Me” 8. Navigate indoors as easily as outdoor **What to do -Wear headphones -Start a route -The phone’s back camera must be facing the same direction you are looking at as images of the streets and house walls are analysed locally on your phone to improve localization (data is not stored or processed for anything else). -Follow the audio: no need to look at the screen -To get the best experience, please check out our tutorials **Route planning can be done: -Directly on the app -In your (desktop) browser with the web planner at: https://app.waveout.app/map -Places and routes can saved on your account and can be user later for navigation. ** Help us improve All feedback is welcome! It is the way by which we will improve. If you have any suggestions, questions or need help, please write us at support@dreamwaves.io With your help, we create the navigation of the future! ** Free version and premium features The app has all the features in place for audio navigation and is currently completely free. In the future we will introduce premium features including higher localization accuracy and these will be part of a subscription plan. ** App details Headphones are needed to hear the waypoints. Even though we use spatial audio, any headphone model will work. For the best experience, we recommend open headphones so you are always aware of the world around you. For an amazing experience we will support selected hearables. Stay tuned! ** Behind the scenes An intuitive experience requires that the virtual content is displayed flawlessly. We use state-of-the art computer vision methods to determine the location of the user within the world. We take the latest augmented reality toolkits, global positioning advances and machine learning methods, combine them with some magic and obtain the position with incredible accuracy. **Spatial audio Spatial audio simulates the way people naturally understand sound locations. When a phone rings, or a friend calls, you immediately turn your head. Spatial audio does the same and we use this to help you find the next waypoint in the easiest way. Intersector
Read full descriptionHide full description
Intersector helps you quickly identify nearby street intersections using your iPhone’s location and heading. Ask for the nearest intersection, what’s coming up ahead, use Scan Mode to point your phone down the street and hear the intersection it detects, or turn on Live Mode and have Intersector speak your upcoming intersections on a walk or during a ride with your phone locked. Intersector can speak distance, direction, and neighborhood context, and includes optional wording styles so announcements can match how you think about your surroundings. Built with VoiceOver users in mind, Intersector focuses on fast, clear spoken information without turning into turn-by-turn navigation. It is designed as a lightweight orientation tool for understanding nearby cross streets, not as a crossing aid or safety system. Features include: • Nearest intersection announcements • Upcoming intersection announcements • Scan Mode for nearby intersections in the direction you point • Live Mode to announce upcoming intersections automatically while walking or in transportation, using customizable speech • Siri Shortcut support • Optional distance, direction, and neighborhood details • Customizable intersection wording • Support for split intersections where different streets meet the same main street • Manhattan Snob Mode for New York-style direction wording • VoiceOver-friendly controls and spoken feedback • Dynamic Type and large text support. Intersector also has an Apple Watch companion app, so Siri Shortcuts and intersection data can be queried right from your wrist. Intersector uses location and heading data to provide orientation information. Always use your own judgment, mobility skills, and available pedestrian infrastructure when traveling.
