DarkStore InSpection™ is an intuitive and feature-rich mobile app used by facilities professionals to inspect vacant commercial properties. Following proven procedures technicians inspect properties, capture on-site condition and repair information and quickly stream vital data to management to protect facilities during non-use. Whether you’re dealing with short or long-term vacancies, DarkStore InSpection™ can help you with long-term facilities management or to re-open your dark store more quickly. Without requiring time consuming training, your designated employees or contractors can use our program to help you to avoid issues and mitigate ongoing problems, mounting damage and expenses at your vacant commercial properties. Every time a retail store and restaurant property ceases operations – whether it’s a brief, several month hiatus, or a lengthy long-term closure – a perfect storm of adverse conditions may strike. No tenants. No customers. No rental income. Little traffic. Unlit properties. Overgrown landscaping and lax maintenance. No one watching the “dark store”, so to speak. These and many other “out-of-business” factors can devastate building appearance and drive down real estate and future rental values. And managing dark store issues is no easy task for commercial property owners and facility managers. This is especially true for stand-alone retail store properties and restaurants, which are often highly impacted by dark store issues. Our app offers an economical facilities management approach, conduct mechanical inspections, mediate equipment failures and discover break-in and vandalism damage. Proper facilities management can lessen owner liability and the risk of decreasing property values. Broken pipes, HVAC equipment failures, electrical outages, vandalism, theft, homeless invasion, and more can befall any closed facility. DarkStore InSpection™ will help you to avoid any such issues by mitigating ongoing problems and mounting damage expenses.
