Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Perigold at none against Skyline Window Coverings's shown. Perigold also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (8K vs 3). Skyline Window Coverings's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Perigold against 5.0 for Skyline Window Coverings. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perigold has 8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Perigold's written reviews are positive against 100% of Skyline Window Coverings's.
Perigold ships an update weekly, Skyline Window Coverings every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
