Your bank app shows you a chart. It tells you what you spent. It never asks if it was worth it. Anzi does. One question, every morning. Five seconds. — HOW IT WORKS — • Log it. Add a purchase in two taps: the amount and what it was. No receipts, no syncing, no setup. • Rate it. The next morning, Anzi shows you what you bought yesterday and asks: was it worth it? Joy, meh or regret. One tap each. A night's sleep makes the answer honest. • See it. Your week and your month on one card: the total, day by day, split into joy, meh and regret. A quiet summary arrives every Sunday and at the end of each month. — THINK BEFORE YOU BUY — • Wait on it. Want something? Park it in a 48-hour or 7-day cool-down. When it ends, Anzi asks: still want it? Let it go, and watch your "not spent" total grow. • Return reminders. Not sure about something you bought? Set the return deadline. Anzi reminds you two days before and on the last day. • Memories. Twice a week, a past joy or regret comes back: do you remember this? Would you still buy it today? — LITTLE THINGS — • Photos of the receipt or the thing itself, and a souvenirs album • Gentle reminders at lunch and dinner that learn when you usually log • A home-screen widget with today's total • Share cards: your week, one purchase or a want you let go, as a picture for your Story • App lock with Face ID or fingerprint, free • Back up to a file and import it on a new phone • English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese and Russian • Any currency, CSV export, delete everything in one tap — WHAT ANZI IS NOT — Not a budgeting app. Not an expense tracker. No bank connections, no categories to manage, no budgets to blow. No spreadsheets, and no AI telling you to cut your coffee. Anzi never touches your accounts and never asks for a password to your money. — PRIVATE BY DESIGN — Everything stays on your phone. There is no account, no cloud, no server and no analytics. We collect nothing because there is nothing to collect. Your spending is yours alone. — WHY "ANZI" — It's an Italian word that doesn't translate cleanly: "on the contrary. Actually. Wait." As in: "I thought I needed it. Anzi, I didn't." That feeling is the whole app. Spend less time tracking. Spend more like you mean it. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Anzi at none against Monthly Spending Tracker's 1. Anzi also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 17 months). Monthly Spending Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
