About

CheckPad

This CheckPad is the same one that was in the AppStore till October 2020 Created a macOS version from iOS version via Mac Catalyst. Same UI and some macOS menu options. macOS Catalina (version 10.15) is required to run this macOS version. Payer/Payee changed to From/To. Date, Means, From/To and Memo fields changed from center to left aligned. Fixed bug with searching for From/To. Allows deletion of iCloud accounts in Settings. Since Bundle ID has changed, users need to save to device and move to desktop and then copy to new app. ATTENTION:USERS OF PREVIOUS VERSIONS WHO USE iCloud MUST READ THIS BEFORE UPDATING. Due to an App identifying change, save your data to iCloud, or save them in Finder (in Catalina) to any location and add them to this version. CheckPad is a simple digital version of a check book. Transactions are presented on the screen the same way they are in a check book register. This is not an online bill payment application and therefore doesn’t have access to any bank data via the internet. It replaces most of the paper in your drawers, shoe box and on your desks. With this app you can keep track of your money by tracking transactions like you normally do with your checkbook. CheckPad offers the following advantages: - help save the trees - Printing now supported despite the app premise. Some users just can't do without a hard copy. - make clean transaction register entries without messy corrections - correct transaction dates - familiar layout - so simple to use an 8 year old (who keeps a register) can use it without help - offers password protection to prevent unauthorized access - a small memory foot print and fast - doesn’t require the internet to use it (except backing up accounts to iCloud)

Simple Balance Planner

Simple Balance Planner answers one question: what will my account balance be next week, next month, and the month after that? It's a running checkbook register with a forward view. Enter what you know β€” the bills, the paychecks, the transfers β€” and the app carries the balance forward, day by day. You can see the dip before payday, the month rent and insurance land together, and the stretch where more money is sitting in checking than needs to be there. This is not a budget tracker or an expense categorizer. There are excellent apps for that. Simple Balance Planner does one thing: it keeps a single checking or savings account balanced over time. START WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE β€’ Import your bank's CSV export directly β€” the common bank column layout is understood as-is β€’ Set an opening balance and every balance after it is computed for you β€’ Have the app read your history and build recurring rules automatically for anything that shows up in three or more months β€’ Export a blank template if you'd rather start from scratch RECURRING RULES DO THE WORK β€’ Monthly, every-N-weeks, or every-N-days rules for rent, utilities, subscriptions and salary β€’ Future occurrences project into your balance without being entered β€” 30 days ahead free, a full year with a subscription β€’ Turn on "amount varies" for bills that change every period, so the rule still matches β€’ Adjust a single month when one payment is late or larger, or edit the rule to change every future one RECONCILE AS THINGS CLEAR β€’ Tick a transaction to verify it as it hits your bank β€” a projection becomes a real, recorded entry β€’ Verified rows fade to grey so the unverified ones stay obvious β€’ Jump straight to the oldest unverified transaction to pick up reconciling where you left off β€’ Drag across checkboxes to verify a run of transactions at once BUILT FOR IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC β€’ Syncs through your own iCloud account across every device you own β€’ Full undo and redo, including on the Mac with ⌘Z and βŒ˜β‡§Z β€’ Search by description, note, or any amount β€” including balances β€’ Touch and hold a row (right-click on Mac) for edit, insert, verify, skip an occurrence, or edit the rule behind it β€’ Debits in red, credits in green, at a glance YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything lives on your device and in your private iCloud database. There are no accounts to create, no bank logins, no servers of ours in the middle, no analytics and no ads. Nothing is ever collected. You can export your transactions to CSV at any time, and erase everything from inside the app. Simple, private, and focused on one job: knowing what your balance is going to be. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Simple Balance Planner is free to use, and projects your balance 30 days ahead at no cost. A subscription extends the projection to a full year. New subscriptions start with a two-week free trial, then continue at $0.99/month or $9.99/year. Importing, recurring rules, reconciling and iCloud sync are free and stay free. The subscription is auto-renewable. The two-week free trial is charge-free; nothing is taken from your Apple Account while it runs. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple Account is then charged $0.99 (monthly) or $9.99 (yearly) and the subscription renews automatically until you turn it off. Each renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription.
