Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Pre at 5.0 against Gyraline's 3.8. Pre also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Gyraline's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (99 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
