To be honest
I’ve been around since the early days and I really like this app.
Not accurate
Feels like the readings are just a random number generator. You can go as fast as possible or as slow and anywhere in between and get a different reading every time.
Not what it was
This was close enough back when it first came out, now it’s wildly inaccurate and completely useless. Sad
Great system. Could be better
Pretty big miss you have to watch the screen instead of the contact surface to know that you're lined up ... and the resolution in settings never stays at your last selection. Will change to 5 stars when you add the audible!
Excellent Tool
I’ve used Gyraline to align 3 cars now, with excellent results each time. The process isn’t the most intuitive, but their instructional videos explain it well. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to get repeatable measurements, but it does take some effort to learn.
This is miles better than using string and calipers. The amount of time you save each time you check a measurement is worth the price alone. Highly recommend if you do any of your own work on your suspension or just want to align your car perfectly.

Works great when used as directed
Don’t assume you know how to use this tool just because you may have used others.
I did that and found inconsistent results and thought the problem was the app or the tool itself.
Later I took 15 minutes and watched the instruction videos which explain exactly how to use the G1 tool and saw that I was doing it wrong, which explains why I was getting inconsistent results.
I also want to say that I’ve had extremely good experience with their support team regarding my order and the product.
Lastly, I found that my Office 365 email mistakenly flagged their product activation link as spam and I had to release it from quarantine before receiving. This was a Microsoft issue, not a Gyraline issue.

Persistent app access issue
I purchased the G1 for iOS when it was first introduced with the free Android version. It’s been working great up until just a few weeks ago when I realized they’d changed the way the app is accessed to a login version. I do not understand WHY that was thought to be a good idea, because it wasn’t. I have not been able to login to whatever I’m supposed to in order to access the app I PAID FOR, because the process keeps rejecting my credentials and refuses to email me a link to login. Kind of a dumb process, and very cumbersome. I am only able to login to the old free Android account (which you’d think would be linked to the new process), yet that version of the app is less accurate with fewer options and features. The paid version I was using on my iPhone when you could just simply tap and open the app (you know, like a normal app🙄) is the one I need yet can’t access 🤨 Why do these companies start off with something good that works just fine, then screw it up by “fixing” what isn’t broken??

Word to the wise: Stay Away.
It is a giant POS! It locked to the email you used to purchase which happened to be my work email. I can’t use the app on my work phone. They said they had changed it to my personal email, and now I can’t use either. They never mentioned that when ordering.
Even if they fix it, the need to always send a validation link is incredibly annoying.
I plan to dispute the charge of my CC as they have failed to provide the function that was advertised as I have never been able to use it.

Can’t open/ No support
I was really excited to get this. I paid the $189 for lifetime subscription. The app will not send a link so I can use the app and I have written customer service several times over the last few days. I tried changing my email in my account in case fraud filters were blocking but absolutely no luck. No number to call and zero response which says typically responds same day. I will be filing for a refund on my credit card! Pretty bummed!

Great tool love it.
Most of my issues when not clearly knowing the process of how to use the tool correctly. I’m am a master mechanic but alignments have never been my wheelhouse. After a few try’s and watching multiple videos I got my alignment perfect. Just needed to take my time and follow each step correctly. From now on I’ll definitely do my own alignment.

It’s already more than paid for itself. The manual could use an update but if you understand what you’re doing in the first place, it’s not an issue.
Update: brought one car in for new tires after aligning it with Gyraline. A free alignment check came with the purchase and after the adjustments I made prior with the app, their machine indicated I was off by only .05 degrees on the left front tire. I’ll take it.

Awesome & Quick alignment app!
So much better than measuring tapes! It’s nice to finally have a way to do decent alignments at home!
Extremely frustration
Extremely frustrating. Things are not accurate. You can measure the car back to back and the numbers are completely different and not even close together. You can’t measure, do a small adjustment and measure it again. It makes you go though the entire car again just for that short adjustment. This is not practical at all. String and tape measure is much much better than this wonky thing. It’s a shame.

I like the new update
Body align is always spot on, spec lookup is super cool, as well as the garage feature, now I can save alignments from before when I was at the track and track how everything feels.

App needs a lot of work
Very confusing. Wish it was more user friendly for dummies like me. I don’t know what negative toe is or positive to. Heck I don’t even know what the spec should be at. I HATE that it forces you to do the rear toe when doing the front toe.
While aligning, the numbers kept moving and were not consistent. There has to be a way to calibrate the phone first in the app.

This app is great
Never really knew how to do an alignment but when I was showed this app it made it very easy for me. This app is awesome.
Excellent Alignment tool
We use this in our fleet shop with excellent results. As a professional fleet shop we use this to adjust toe and steer ahead on all of our trucks. Since we are only adjusting front toe and steering wheel angle this is the perfect tool for the job!
Also use it on my personal cars to set full alignment whenever suspension adjustments are made.

Awesome tool
Work on my cars all the time but always had to take them somewhere for alignments and pay way too much.
This made it super simple to do at home after changing some suspension parts on my Tundra.
