Welcome to the new Clex Key App 2! Uhlmann & Zacher presents the Clex Key App, which has been developed from scratch. More efficient communication to the locking units, more stable overall behavior and easy-to-use UI as well as better user guidance for invitation / authorization by the administrator characterize the new Clex Key App. With the Clex Key App, the electronic locking units of Uhlmann & Zacher can be opened and closed using the smartphone. In the process, the smartphone communicates with the locking units via Bluetooth® Low Energy. High security standards To ensure the necessary security, you will receive an invitation to set up your Clex Key app from the operator of the locking system by e-mail and also a short message on your phone. Only after confirming both parts of the invitation, your key can be used to open the locking units using your smartphone Functions: - Receive mobile keys and unlock doors via Bluetooth® - Execute block requests for the administrator

Use your smartphone as an alternative to a physical ID card to open doors or use similar card-reading applications (e.g., time & attendance, print management, or login). ADVANTAGES FOR APP USERS • INTUITIVE: Present the phone to a reader - no need to unlock it. • EASY SETUP: Just scan the QR code in your invitation e-mail. • FLEXIBLE: The app also works when the phone is offline. ADVANTAGES FOR ADMINS EASY SETUP • Activate Mobile ID on the reader via its configuration. • No need to change any settings in your access control system. • User data can be automatically imported and synchronized from the access control system into the Mobile ID Manager admin application. FLEXIBLE • Compatible with any access control system • If needed, you can make card and phone use distinguishable. • Also usable with other card reading applications e.g. time and attendance, print management, or login. • Also usable for projects with self-service registration (IDs for the apps are assigned automatically, so you don’t need to enter user data in Mobile ID Manager). • Hosting in the cloud or on-premises SECURE • AES-128-encrypted BLE connection protects against replay or brute-force attacks performed to gain unauthorized access. • The admin application Mobile ID Manager signs each ID before issuing it to an app, so the ID can’t be manipulated on the user’s phone. • To prevent user tracking, the app will reveal its ID only to authorized readers. FREE OF CHARGE • No fees are charged for either the app or the admin application.
