Both are free to download. mDriveRecorder sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per month. IT&E Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.
IT&E Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mDriveRecorder has 58 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 2% of mDriveRecorder's written reviews are positive against 0% of IT&E Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
mDriveRecorder ships an update every 7 months, IT&E Mobile every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
