GROW YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD by spending regular time in His Word. Authored by Moody Bible Institute professors, you’ll find the devotionals easy to read and listen to, but with rich insights that deepen your understanding of each Scripture passage. BUILD THE HABIT OF DAILY BIBLE READING with the newest version of the app. A “devotional streak” lets you track and improve your habit of regular time in God’s Word. You can select any translation of the Bible you prefer. Each day has a beautiful Bible verse graphic to share. There are additional resources for each month’s topic. BEST OF ALL, IT IS FREE! There is no charge for any feature of the app which is fully funded by generous readers who believe in the importance of Bible study. By signing up for a free personal account, you can keep your Bible study notes, track completed readings, and save your preferred Bible version. Here are 5 reasons to make Today in the Word devotional app your #1 choice: 1) GET SMALL, BUT MEATY BITES EVERY DAY One reader writes, “This is spiritual meat, and I am very grateful.” With Today in the Word, you’ll learn more about the Bible. Each day’s devotional can be read or listened to in less than 5 minutes, but the content is rich enough if you want to spend additional time digging into each passage. We study an entire Bible passage, not just a “feel good” thought based on one verse. 2) READ THROUGH THE BIBLE, COVER TO COVER Have you read through the entire Bible? With the Today in the Word app, you will study every book of the Bible, even ones that you might not have explored before. We aren’t afraid to tackle the tough stuff! Bible professors make even the most difficult passages understandable and help you walk away with a direct application for your life. 3) GROW IN YOUR FAITH JOURNEY “A life changing experience” and “a spiritual revival to my heart”, readers say that this isn’t just about reading the Bible, but letting it change your life! While you may believe that spending regular time in God’s Word strengthens your faith, putting it into practice can be difficult. The app can be used alone or for group study. Each devotional ends with questions that can serve as journal prompts or discussion starters. 4) GET MONTHLY BONUS RESOURCES - Watch video interviews with devotional authors - Share beautiful Verse-of-the-Day graphics - Select your preferred Bible translation - Receive push notifications that remind you to read the Bible - Record and save your study notes - Listen to audio of each devotional - Listen to abbreviated or full-length audio of each devotional - This app offers push notifications to remind you to read. - Track your reading consistency with a “streak”! - Join a Facebook devotional discussion group 5) JOIN MORE THAN ONE MILLION READERS! Custom Devotion writes Bible studies the way you'd want them written - your theology, your denomination, for your audience. No more reading devotionals that water down doctrine to please everyone, or skip the exegesis, or ignore the question you actually came in with. Tell Custom Devotion who you are and what you're studying, and it generates a tailored devotion in seconds. HOW IT WORKS • Set your defaults once — translation, denomination, audience, length, voice. • Quick Study: type a passage or topic and tap Generate. Two taps, one tailored study. • Build a Study: open the full 11-question questionnaire when you want fine control. • Save, share, and export to PDF for small group, family worship, or your own files. BUILT FROM A CONSERVATIVE PROTESTANT FRAME Custom Devotion writes from within historic, conservative Protestant Christianity. Supported traditions include Reformed, Baptist, Reformed Baptist, Presbyterian (PCA / EPC / OPC), Methodist (Global / Free), Lutheran (LCMS / WELS), Non-denominational, Evangelical Free, Wesleyan, Holiness, and Plymouth Brethren. If a request lands outside that frame, the app declines gently rather than faking a perspective we can't faithfully represent. By design. BIBLE TRANSLATIONS Public-domain translations like KJV, BSB, and WEB are quoted in full inside studies. For copyright-restricted translations — ESV, NIV, NASB, NKJV, NRSV, NLT, CSB, AMP, The Message — studies are written using your translation as the reference point with verse references shown, so you can read the text in your own Bible. WHO IT'S FOR • The dad planning family worship who wants more than a stock devotional. • The small-group leader prepping a Tuesday-night study. • The Sunday school teacher building a 4-week unit. • The reader who studies their Bible seriously and wants a tool that respects that. SUBSCRIPTION Personal — 10 studies per month, save unlimited, PDF export. $9.99/mo or $79.99/yr. Pro — 50 studies per month, longer studies, all advanced options. $14.99/mo or $119.99/yr. PRIVACY Custom Devotion does not track you, does not run analytics, does not show ads, and does not maintain user accounts. Your saved defaults, library, and presets live on your phone. The only thing that leaves your device is your questionnaire input when you tap Generate, so the AI can write the devotion.
