Beyond Identity vs Brevn

The Beyond Identity Authenticator provides instant, passwordless login backed by the world's only dynamic identity defense platform. By replacing weak credentials with strong, device-bound, cryptographic credentials, Beyond Identity makes attacks like phishing, social engineering, brute force, deepfake fraud, and advanced MFA attacks impossible to execute. For users, all you experience is a seamless, passwordless MFA login that provides instant and continuous secure access with no extra steps or second device needed. You simply open the app, confirm your identity, and go. For organizations, you have the assurance you're protected against initial access and lateral movement threats because every session is protected by hardware-backed credentials with security posture that is continuously validated. Beyond Identity is designed to be privacy-preserving. Biometric validation is local, no biometric information is stored in our system nor sent over the network, and the application does not collect personal information

Brevn is a calm focus timer that learns when you focus best. Start a session in one tap. When it ends, answer two quick questions: how absorbed were you, and did you get done what you meant to? After a few sessions, Brevn shows which hours, session lengths and break rhythms rate highest for you, from your own sessions and nobody else's. FIND YOUR SHARP HOURS See the time of day your focus is usually at its best, and how sure Brevn is about it. When there isn't enough data yet, or the difference is too small to matter, Brevn says so instead of guessing. PARK A STRAY THOUGHT Something pops into your head mid-session? Write it down in a line and carry on. The timer never stops. Your parked thoughts wait for you at the end, and you can do it from the Lock Screen or with Siri too. PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Leave yourself one line at the end of a session. Brevn hands it back the next time you start on the same thing. START FROM ANYWHERE Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, Control Center, the Action Button and Apple Watch. TEST A HUNCH IN THE LAB (Brevn Pro) Does music help? Coffee first? Phone in another room? Brevn assigns each day a condition at random and tells you whether the difference is real. It's the only part of Brevn that tells you what causes what; everything else shows patterns. SLEEP, CAFFEINE AND HEART RATE Log a coffee with a tap. If you allow it, Brevn reads your sleep, HRV and resting heart rate from Apple Health and sets them beside your sessions. CALM BY DESIGN No streaks. No celebrations. No ads. Nothing to set up before you start, and no account needed. Your sessions stay on your phone unless you sign in to keep them in your Brevn account across your devices. BREVN PRO Free: the timer, every way to start, check-ins, your time-of-day pattern, quick-read experiments and the Paper theme. Pro: every finding (session length, breaks, sleepiness) with suggestions, the Lab, calendar holds for your sharp hour, drafting experiments and reading back your own words with Apple Intelligence (on supported devices), and the Midnight, Sage and Sand themes. Brevn Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription (the annual plan starts with a one-month free trial). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your App Store account settings.
