Bring your family’s story to life with the ParentFinder Video App. An adoption profile introduces your family through words and photographs. Video adds another dimension: your voice, your expressions, your laughter, and the everyday moments that make you who you are. The ParentFinder Video App helps families introduce themselves through video, giving expectant parents another way to get to know the people behind a profile. YOUR STORY, IN YOUR OWN WORDS Every family has a different story. You may be hoping to become parents, grow your family, or welcome a child as an individual. Whatever your journey looks like, your introduction should feel like you. Use video to share what matters to you, what you enjoy together, and what you hope to bring to parenting. Talk about the traditions you love, the people who support you, or the little things that make your home feel welcoming. An honest introduction can say more than a rehearsed speech. HELP EXPECTANT PARENTS GET TO KNOW YOU Choosing whether to pursue adoption is a personal decision. Expectant parents deserve space to explore their options and learn about prospective adoptive families at their own pace. A video introduction offers another perspective alongside a written profile. Hearing you speak and seeing you interact can help someone understand your personalities and imagine your home's atmosphere. Video does not need to answer every question or replace a conversation. It can be a starting point for learning more. The goal is to offer a clear, sincere picture of your family so someone considering adoption can decide whether they would like to get to know you better. EVERYDAY MOMENTS CAN TELL A MEANINGFUL STORY You do not need an extraordinary setting to introduce yourself. Often, the details that feel most familiar to you are the ones that help others understand your life. You might share a favorite family tradition, describe a weekend activity, introduce a beloved pet, or explain why a particular place is special to you. You can talk about how you spend time together, what makes you laugh, and the values you hope to share with a child. Let your video reflect your actual life. A quiet conversation at home can be just as meaningful as a glimpse of an outdoor adventure. Choose moments that help tell your story rather than trying to include everything. BE YOURSELF, NOT A PERFECT PERFORMANCE It is natural to feel unsure about being on camera. You may wonder what to say, how to begin, or whether your introduction sounds right. Start with something simple here: your names, a little about your family, and why you are sharing your story. Speak as though you are introducing yourself to someone you would like to know. Use your own words. Leave room for warmth, humor, and personality. You do not need to sound like a presenter, and your home does not need to look like a magazine. What matters is that your introduction feels comfortable and honest. Avoid promises you cannot guarantee, and focus on the hopes and intentions you can share sincerely. COMPLEMENT YOUR PARENTFINDER PROFILE Your written profile, photos, and video each offer a different view of your family. Together, they can provide a fuller introduction without needing to repeat the same information in every format. Use your profile to explain your story in detail, your photos to show meaningful people and places, and your video to let your personality come through. Think of video as an opportunity to add something personal: a voice behind the words and a sense of the people behind the pictures. A PERSONAL INTRODUCTION STARTS WITH YOU The ParentFinder Video App is about helping families share their stories in a more personal way. Whether you begin with a short hello or a glimpse into everyday life, let your introduction reflect who you are and what matters to you. Your story does not have to be perfect to be worth sharing. Start with your voice, your hopes, and the moments that make your family your own.

Version 2.20 No Advertisements, no In-App Purchases Ever wish you knew how long the Internet was down last night? WebCheck2 pings several Web addresses commonly used by Internet Professionals to watch for dropouts in your connectivity. Interruptions caused by your ISP, your local telephone or cable line, your router or hub, your wireless connection or even the WiFi on your iPhone®,iPod touch®or iPad® are detected and can be recorded in a log file. You can also supply WebCheck2 with up to six URLs of your own choice to be pinged along with those built-in to the App. Additionally, any of these URLs can be “disabled” (that is, not included in the list of pinged URLs) or “enabled” as you deem fit. USER NOTE: Be aware that a poorly typed alphanumeric URL such as “Asherdftffdf” may in fact result in a successful ping. This all depends on the ability of the Web’s Domain Name System (DNS) servers to produce an Internet Protocol (IP) address (URL) that corresponds to this string of characters. Also note that there are some servers that do not support the Ping Packets and will therefore not respond to WebCheck2. Here’s a brief list of WebCheck2’s features. Automatically does nearly continuous checks of your Internet connection status Can record pertinent information into a log file, complete with time and date stamps. The log file can be printed to a WiFi printer WebCheck2 can be left in foreground so logging is continuous. WebCheck2 will dim the screen after 2 minutes of hands-off operation. Any touch will restore the screen to its previous brightness level. WebCheck2’s functionality is available on two screens.
The Front Screen: Web Availability is indicated by a Green Light Log file generation can be started or stopped The total connection up time and connection down time for the most recent logging session are displayed. A simulated oscilloscope screen shows a nice animation of an outgoing pulse whenever a ping has started and an animated “echo” image when the ping is successful. Sounds corresponding to the beginning of a ping, the end of a ping, Web Up, Web Down and button clicks are provided. Individual sounds may be muted by the user. The Back Screen: Web Availability is indicated by a Green Light Log file generation can be started or stopped The log file can be viewed at any time. The log file can be printed to a WiFi printer if desired. During logging, events such as gaps in connectivity, ping failures, starting and stopping monitoring, exiting and restarting WebCheck2 are recorded in the log file, along with time and date stamps. The log file can be cleared out at any time. All sounds can be individually muted or un-muted The built-in URLs can be removed from the pinging list via a touch as desired. Up to six user URLs can be added to the list of those pinged.
