The clearest difference is rating: Akamai MFA at 5.0 against LCEC's 2.8. LCEC's advantage is ratings volume (20 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Akamai MFA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LCEC has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Akamai MFA's written reviews are positive against 38% of LCEC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Akamai MFA ships an update every 6 weeks, LCEC every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
