About

CMET

Features

CMET is case management built for personal-injury law firms, and this is CMET on your phone. It is for the people who run cases every day - attorneys, case managers, paralegals, legal assistants and intake staff at a firm that uses CMET. You sign in with the account your firm gave you. There is no sign-up in the app, and you cannot use it without a firm account. What you get on the phone - Dashboard: what needs you right now - the next appointment, today's to-dos, new client texts, and anything that needs attention like a statute of limitations coming due. - Today: your to-dos for the day in order, with the overdue ones first. Complete, reschedule, snooze or reassign from the list. - My Docket: every case on your docket as a list or a calendar. Week strip, month grid, filters for cases and events, and a quick "add" for a new event or a new case. - The case page: who the clients are, the stage, the docket owner, the deadline, the next appointment, open to-dos, notes, documents and recent activity - with Add note and Upload right on top. - Clients & Cases: the firm's client lists - current, intake, CLC, closed, released, never signed up - with the same counts as the desktop. - Chat: message your team, one to one or firm-wide. - Search: find any case by client name, case number or phone. What the app adds that a browser cannot - Face ID or fingerprint lock. After five minutes away, or when you reopen the app, it asks for your face, fingerprint or passcode. On by default - switch it off per phone under your profile. - Alerts. To-dos due, client texts and team messages reach you as phone notifications. Turn them on under your profile, turn them off the same way. - Scan to a case. Open a case's documents, tap Scan, and the phone's document camera turns paper into a PDF that lands in that case's folder. - Share to CMET. Share a photo, a PDF or a file from any app into CMET, pick the case and the folder, done. - Links that open the app. A CMET case link in an email or a text opens the case in the app, not in a browser tab. Everything else is the same CMET your firm uses on the desktop - same cases, same permissions, same data, updated the moment your firm's desktop is. Your firm's documents stay in your firm's own document storage. Who this is not for If your firm does not use CMET, the app has nothing to show you. CMET is sold to law firms - see cmet.ai.
