What is that bug? Is that dropping something to worry about? Do those mounds in the yard mean moles? PestCheck answers the question you actually have: do I need to do something about this? Take a photo, type a description, or both. PestCheck identifies what you're likely looking at and tells you plainly whether it's harmless, normal, unusual, a real pest problem, or dangerous. If it's something a professional should handle, PestCheck points you to a pest control specialist in your state. WHAT YOU CAN CHECK • Insects — roaches, ants, termites, bed bugs, spiders, wasps • Rodents and wildlife — mice, rats, moles, and the damage they leave • Droppings, nests, burrows, mounds, and chew marks • Snakes and other animals you'd rather identify from a distance • Anything else you'd call a pest control company about HOW IT WORKS 1. Snap a photo or describe what you're seeing 2. Get an identification with a clear verdict 3. If you need a pro, call one directly from the result FREE, NO ACCOUNT PestCheck is completely free. No sign-up, no subscription, no ads. Pest control companies pay to be featured, so you don't pay anything. PRIVACY No account required. Your photos are used to produce the identification and are not stored. IMPORTANT PestCheck gives AI-generated guidance, not a guaranteed identification. It can be wrong. It is not a substitute for inspection by a licensed professional. If you may be dealing with a venomous animal or a health hazard, contact a professional.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: PestCheck at 100% against My OEC's 29%. PestCheck also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). My OEC's advantage is ratings volume (37 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
