Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nuwelcom at 100% against NOMA iQ's 19%. Nuwelcom also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). NOMA iQ's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
NOMA iQ holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOMA iQ has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Nuwelcom's written reviews are positive against 19% of NOMA iQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Nuwelcom ships an update every 2 weeks, NOMA iQ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
