Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Goya +Golf at none against SmoothSwing's 1. Goya +Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). SmoothSwing's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmoothSwing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Goya +Golf asks for nothing beyond the download.
Goya +Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmoothSwing has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
SmoothSwing ships an update monthly, Goya +Golf every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
