Introducing CONTINUITY, a five-year journal by Super Simple™ One page a day, every year. The Super Simple™ take on the five-year journal. Write today, and this day from every earlier year is waiting underneath. As you finish, Continuity analyzes the themes in the background and connects those people, places, and feelings to a sentiment. Look back over the months and years and discover what fuels you or what holds you back. TODAY AND THIS DAY FOREVER Open Continuity and today is waiting. Write a little or a lot. The page grows with what you write, and the caret is at the end where you left off. Scroll down and there is this day in 2025, then 2024, as far back as you have been writing. On mornings when an earlier year has a page, a notice names the year and how many memories are waiting, never the words. Once a week it reports how the month compares to the last and who appears in its pages. THE SURFACE The page is simple and clean, a clear writing surface for you to express your thoughts. No formatting bar, no tags, no prompts. Choose from three fonts: New York, Quattro, or Charter, and two colorways: ink or cream. Earlier years stack beneath today, and a faint scene sits behind the page. On the Mac, full screen is focus mode: only the page, edge to edge. THE SENTIMENT Once your thoughts settle, Continuity contemplates what you have shared without ever leaving your device, using Apple's internal processing. Each day gets one of five words: heavy, low, even, light, bright. When the page settles, the people and places it noticed appear beneath your writing. The Year view spreads your days out in ink, darker for heavier, one year at a time or one month across every year you have, with your brightest and heaviest days and who was there for each. A sentiment is not just a mood. It is an expression of your inner dialogue, and it is a node in your Atlas. THE ATLAS People, places, and themes, noticed as you write. Each has its days, its years, and what shows up alongside it. Maya: 13 days across 5 years, bright on her days, brighter than most. Noticed, not tagged. When a guess is wrong, hide it or merge it with one tap. Search a name, a word, or a date and get every page where it appears, grouped by year. While you write, the page stays clear. The Atlas is one tap away at the top of the page, and directly below the calendar. THE VAULT Optional. Every page sealed on the device before it is stored or sent to iCloud. PIN, Face ID or Touch ID, auto-lock, and a recovery key shown once and never stored. Sentiment and the Atlas are read only after unlock. Nothing about a page leaves the device in the clear. SYNCED BUT NOT SHARED. iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Sync runs through your own iCloud. No sign-up, no profile, no email address. Export writes one plain-text file with a heading for each day, and Import reads a file laid out the same way, so a journal from another app, or a text file you kept yourself, becomes pages. Your journal starts empty, ready for your own writing. Continuity is free. No ads or cross-app tracking. Sentry diagnostics and limited TelemetryDeck reliability signals help us keep the app working; neither receives your journal text. Your journal stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Continuity at 100% against Innr's 3%. Continuity also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). Innr's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
