Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: DeadSpread at weekly against Heady Set's every 3 months. DeadSpread also leads on ratings volume (102 vs 1). Heady Set's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
