About

EnvelopeBudget.com

Features

Envelope Budget can be used at no charge with your own self-hosted Envelope Budget server. The optional EnvelopeBudget.com hosted service includes a 34-day free trial; continued access to that hosted service requires a paid membership purchased through an in-app purchase. Envelope Budget helps you manage your money using the envelope budgeting method—a simple system where you allocate your income into categories before you spend it. How Envelope Budgeting Works When you receive income, you divide it into virtual envelopes for each spending category: rent, groceries, transportation, entertainment, savings. When you make a purchase, the money comes out of that envelope. When an envelope is empty, you've reached your limit for that category. This approach gives you clarity and control. You always know exactly how much you have available to spend. Features • Create envelopes for each of your spending categories • Allocate funds to envelopes when you get paid • Track transactions and watch balances update instantly • Transfer money between envelopes when plans change • Manage multiple accounts (checking, savings, cash) • View your spending history and track where your money goes Why It Works Envelope budgeting removes the guesswork. Instead of wondering if you can afford something, you check your envelope balance. Instead of overdrawing your account, you see limits in real time. It's budgeting that's easy to understand and easy to follow. Whether you're paying off debt, building an emergency fund, or just trying to stop overspending, Envelope Budget gives you the tools to succeed.
