About

Cheap Eats Gold

Dinner for under ten dollars, planned in about a minute. A hundred and eighty-five recipes written one at a time, a planner that builds the week, and a shopping list that knows what you already have. 185 REAL RECIPES Written individually, not generated. Every one has its own ingredients and its own steps, including the detail that decides whether it works: dry the chickpeas or they steam instead of crisping, use cold rice or it turns to paste, take the pan off the heat before the cheese goes in. Seventy-four cost under six dollars for the whole recipe. Seventy-six are done in twenty-five minutes. Fifty-nine are vegetarian. COST YOU CAN COMPARE Every recipe carries the price of the whole thing at supermarket prices, and the price per serving. Sort by it. Swap an expensive night for a cheaper one and watch the week's total come down. PHOTOGRAPH YOUR PANTRY Take a picture of a shelf, the fridge, or the bags before you unpack them. The app lists what it sees and adds it to your pantry, and recipes you can almost already make move up the list. IMPORT ANY RECIPE Paste TikTok captions, a web page full of someone's life story, or a message from your mum, and get back ingredients, steps, cost and timing. Or photograph a recipe card, a cookbook page, or a screenshot. THE WEEK Drag meals onto days. The shopping list builds itself, grouped so you are not walking back across the shop. Budget Rescue swaps the expensive night for a cheaper one when the total creeps up. Leftover Brain tells you what the roast becomes on Wednesday. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No account. No sign-up. Nothing to log into. Your plan, your list and your pantry live on your phone and nowhere else, and the app works with no internet at all apart from the three AI features. WHAT GOLD IS FOR A hundred and twenty-three more recipes, unlimited pantry scans and recipe imports, Budget Rescue, Leftover Brain, taste profiles and meal-prep autofill. The planner, the shopping list and sixty-two recipes stay free, and stay free forever. The AI features are metered generously so one account cannot run up a bill for everybody. Almost nobody reaches it. Nothing that runs on your phone is metered at any point. Cheap Eats Gold is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
