Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Quick at 100% against Split Screen's 42%. Quick also leads on ads (none vs shown). Split Screen's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (487 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split Screen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Quick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Split Screen holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Split Screen has 487 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Split Screen's written reviews are positive against 100% of Quick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Split Screen ships an update every 6 months, Quick every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
